My first popular science book, The Consumer's Good Chemical Guide was published in 1994 as a response to the increasing negative attitudes to anything 'chemical'. These ignored the fact that modern life would not be feasible without important scientific solutions to the world's problems.
All my books have focused on demystifying and explaining chemistry, elements and molecules, and how they have an impact on the processes of life, and death.
